6 places to get chicken wings in Homewood, with hours from their own sites: five on Green Springs Highway in West Homewood and one on 18th Street South.
Last checked 2026-10-17. Refreshed every three months.
Most of Homewood’s wing counters sit on Green Springs Highway in West Homewood: five of the six places on this list are on that road, two of them in the same strip at No. 437. The sixth, Rodney Scott’s BBQ, is on 18th Street South near SoHo.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Homewood’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We added Rodney Scott’s BBQ, whose own site gives a Homewood address and lists wings, and Wings Spot, which has no website but had a Jefferson County Department of Health inspection on Sept. 21, 2026. Wings Plus #3 also has no website and is kept on the strength of its Aug. 27 inspection. We left out Hooters on Oak Grove Road, which is in Birmingham’s city limits, and Buffalo Wild Wings, whose listed store is in Homewood, Illinois. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.

The places
Domino’s on Green Springs Highway is a location of the pizza delivery chain. Its store page lists bone-in wings and boneless chicken alongside its pizzas, with carryout and delivery, and it keeps the latest hours of any place on this list.
Pizza Hut at 437 Green Springs Highway is a carryout and delivery store whose page bills it as “Pizza & Wings.” Its wings come from the chain’s WingStreet menu, and the page notes that fried WingStreet products and flavors vary by location, so ask the store what it has.
Rodney Scott’s BBQ is a barbecue restaurant whose plates are built around its whole hog pork, with other locations in Charleston, Atlanta and Nashville. Its appetizer menu lists smoked chicken wings, next to brisket chili, pork skin nachos and burnt ends. It takes online orders through its site.
Wings Plus #3 shares a strip at 437 Green Springs Highway with Pizza Hut and Tacos Don Tacho. It has no website of its own, so we cannot give its hours or menu; the county health department inspected it on Aug. 27, 2026.
Wings Spot is at 254 Green Springs Highway. It has no website we could find. The Jefferson County Department of Health inspected it on Sept. 21, 2026, which is how we confirmed it is operating.
Wingstop at 808 Green Springs Highway is a location of the national wing chain. Its store page did not load for us, so check the Wingstop site or app for hours and ordering; the county health department last inspected it on June 9, 2026.
